Automobile accidents can change your life forever in a matter of seconds. Tens of thousands of Americans die in auto accidents every year and many more suffer severe or catastrophic injuries. Apart from the devastation of losing a loved one in a crash, surviving victims and their families may never fully recover from the physical and emotional impacts of the accident. Sometimes, these crashes are unavoidable, but more often than not, auto accidents are caused by the mistake or negligence of one of the drivers involved. A little more vigilance, a little more caution, and it all could have been avoided.
Kramarsic Law understands how these accidents change the lives of the victims and their family. We represent innocent people who suffered severe injuries as a result of another driver’s negligence and misconduct. We know how to successfully pursue the justice and compensation you deserve.

Auto accidents have a jarring effect on everyone involved. Time seems to slow down and speed up all at once, and shock may leave you thinking your injuries are minimal. Seek immediate medical attention right away....then call Kramarsic Law, LLC.
Each state has specific laws regarding auto accidents and who is at fault. Illinois is a “fault” state when it comes to car insurance and lawsuits, meaning the party (driver) found to be responsible for the accident is held liable for paying for any damages incurred by the driver not at fault. Essentially, the driver that is found to be at fault must pay for your injuries and any property damage from the accident.
Under Illinois law, you are also required to have liability insurance for your registered vehicle.
If the at-fault driver who caused your auto accident didn’t have insurance that covered your total damages and expenses, we can legally pursue them to hold them personally liable. Additionally, uninsured motorist coverage is required in Illinois.
It’s easy for auto accident claims to become confusing, and you may find yourself with less than what you’re owed when the dust settles. Injuries can hinder you for the rest of your life and require long-term medical care as well as harm to your quality of life and ability to earn a living. Insurance representatives may attempt to convince you to settle your case quickly before you realize the full extent of the damage to your person and/or property. Additionally, when auto accident claims involve the death of a loved one, it’s impossible to put an adequate number on your loss.
